Why are investors not interested in a 3000% return on investment ? | 3000% ROI

I have the SOLUTION for clean, alternative energy and everyone is so wrapped up in their own "green economy" business (selling and installing solar panels, etc.), that no one really cares if there is a solution.
I need financial assiatance in obtaining a patent, which will give you first right of refusal on the invention.
I was "ripped off" on a book that I wrote. I am not going to allow any opportunity to have this invention stolen.
